The maize kernels, having been steeped to the optimum moisture content, are fed into the center of the mill. Centrifugal force drives the kernels outward through the gap between a stationary disc and a rotating disc. The impact and shearing action strip the germ clean from the endosperm and fiber.

Following germ separation, the starch slurry must be washed and concentrated. Our Starch Washing Cyclones remove soluble proteins and fine fibers. The remaining light phase is concentrated using energy-efficient MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) Evaporation Plants or Falling Film Evaporators, reducing steam consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional multi-effect systems.
The separated fiber and gluten are dewatered using our high-efficiency Single Screw Presses. The dewatered cake is then dried in a ZXG Tube Bundle Dryer or an Airflow Dryer. These dryers operate under low-oxygen conditions, preserving the nutritional value of the feed products (DDGS) while ensuring safe, explosion-proof operation.
