Product Description

Description

Forced Circulation Evaporation Plants are designed to prevent fouling and crystallization during liquor boiling by maintaining a relatively high flow velocity within the heating tubes.

The circulating liquor is heated as it passes through the heat exchanger. It then enters a separator where a reduction in pressure causes partial evaporation, cooling the liquor to its boiling point at the corresponding pressure. During crystallization, crystals can be separated from the circulating slurry either by controlling the flow velocity or by employing a specially designed separator.

Particular Feature
  • Long operating periods, evaporation takes place in the separator, and fouling in the calandria is therefore minimised.
  • Optimised heat exchange surface, flow velocity in the tubes determined by the circulation pump.
Fields of Application
  • Liquid with a high tendency for fouling, highly viscous liquid, as the high-concentration step in multiple-effect evaporation plants.
  • Forced circulation evaporators are optimally suited as crystallising evaporators for Saline solutions. In the course of crystallization, the crystal can be separated out through the velocity of the circulating flow or a separator of special design.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is a Forced Circulation Evaporation Plant and how does it work?
A Forced Circulation Evaporation Plant uses a circulation pump to drive liquor through a heat exchanger at high velocity, where it is heated before entering a separator. Inside the separator, a pressure drop causes partial evaporation, cooling the liquor to its boiling point. This continuous forced flow prevents fouling and crystallization in the heating tubes, ensuring stable and efficient operation.
Q What types of liquids are suitable for forced circulation evaporators?
Forced circulation evaporators are ideal for highly viscous liquids, liquids with a high tendency for fouling or scaling, and saline solutions that require crystallization. They are also well-suited as the high-concentration step in multiple-effect evaporation systems, making them versatile for a wide range of industrial applications.
Q Which industries commonly use Forced Circulation Evaporation Plants?
These plants are widely used across pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, wastewater treatment, food and beverage production, and metallurgy. Their ability to handle challenging liquids and deliver customizable configurations makes them a preferred choice wherever precise concentration or crystallization is required.
Q How is the energy efficiency of the evaporation plants ensured?
The design integrates advanced heat exchange technology with optimized pump systems to maximize thermal efficiency and minimize energy waste. The design reduces steam, water, and energy consumption significantly, resulting in lower operational costs and a reduced environmental footprint over the plant's service life.
Q Can Forced Circulation Evaporation Plants be customized for specific requirements?
Yes. Fully customizable solutions tailored to individual process requirements, including specific capacity, operating conditions, material compatibility, and industry standards, are offered. Each system is engineered to meet the unique production needs while maintaining the highest levels of performance and reliability.
Q What after-sales services are provided for the evaporation equipment?
Comprehensive after-sales support is provided, covering installation guidance, operator training, routine maintenance scheduling, technical assistance, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and system upgrades. This ensures maximum operational efficiency and long-term satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the equipment.
